Destination Touristic Services
in CYPRUS
Cyprus is Europe’s easternmost and third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Ancient and at the same time very young – this is Cyprus: where history, myth and harmony unite.
Established in 2002, DTS Cyprus/Summertimes Travel became one of the largest incoming agencies in Cyprus, representing since years several tour operators from different European countries. Our main characteristics include a high sense of competitiveness, strong supplier relationships, outstanding networking, excellent business reputation and the ability to effectively handle a range of volume clients. Particularly, we have the strong ability to secure beds in well-located and popular establishments with attractive rates.
According to the legend, Cyprus was Aphrodite’s birthplace. From her tears and the blood of Adonis thousands of anemones blossomed. Cyprus is an island of beauty and love with a mild and balanced climate, a coastline with rugged white rocks, little bays with turquoise water, golden-yellow sandy beaches, and a landscape with fertile valleys, vineyards and green forests in the Troodos Mountains. More than 365 churches and countless monasteries, many beautiful historical towns and original villages away from the hustle and bustle make up the charm of this legendary island. The Cypriot way of life is open, hospitable and marked by the Orthodox faith. Cyprus is the island for every season with quality hotels and attentive service!

LARNACA
Scala, as the Cypriots affectionately call their third largest city in Cyprus, Larnaca. With a population of 75,000, Larnaca is considerably smaller than Cyprus’ main cities Nicosia and Limassol.
In antiquity, Larnaca was known as “Kition”. As the birthplace of the stoic philosopher Zenon, Larnaca is also the second home of St Lazarus, who came here after his resurrection and later became the first bishop. Visit the agios Lazarus church in the centre, which was built in the 10th century and whose crypt still shows the sarcophagus of the saint.
People can enjoy the casual and rustic charisma here, combined with a southern atmosphere of the main shopping area with its colourful and narrow streets full of small shops. The palm-fringed promenade of Larnaca is dotted with street cafes, tavernas and bars.
From LCA airport people can easily reach the areas Ayia Napa and Protaras. Ayia Napa is just 40 km and Protaras 45 km east of Larnaca.
Ayia Napa, means “Holy Forest”, and is known for its sandy beaches, white sand and crystal waters. The centre of the village is formed by a medieval monastery with a beautiful courtyard. People can walk to the beautiful small fishing harbour with cozy tavernas, restaurants and shops.
Protaras is known for its long stretches of sandy beaches, all of excellent quality with crystal clear waters and some blue flag beaches. Among the main streets of Protaras you can enjoy excellent food and drinks in a big variety of tavernas, restaurants, bars etc. A pedestrian zone along the seaside invites you to linger and enjoy the summer sea breeze.
Let yourself be captured by the typical Cypriot flair!!

PAFOS
Pafos is located in the west side of the island. According to mythology, it is considered as the birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite, who was born here coming out of the foam of the sea.
The city of Pafos itself has a population of about 50,000 and is the smallest of the Cyprus cities. Pafos has two main districts: a) Kato Pafos which is the area of the picturesque harbour and b) Ktima, the actual city centre where the most of the public buildings such as the municipality hall and most of the shops are situated.
Pafos, this is also a space of great scenic beauty. Its unique attraction lies in the striking alternation between rugged cliffs and fertile coastal lines.
With its ancient walls and fortifications, the harbour of Pafos is a romantic and cozy place surrounded by the Castle of Pafos and charming tavernas, coffee shops etc. Just a few hundred meters from the harbour are the truly stunning mosaics in the “House of Dionysus” and a couple of kilometres further are the famous “Tombs of the Kings“.
From PFO airport people can easily reach the area of Polis/Latchi and Limassol.
Limassol is only a 50-minute drive and is the second largest city of Cyprus with 150,000 inhabitants. It is the core of wine production, the largest port city and an important commercial and tourist centre.
Experience Limassol’s casual holiday atmosphere with its long-running coastal promenade and bustling shopping streets, which is especially complemented by the joie de vivre of the city’s population. Discover the charm of the old town with its original core with lots of tavernas, coffee shops, bars, in combination with a walk to Limassol marina where people can enjoy nice food, drink, music etc.
Polis/Latchi is located north of Paphos. Due to its unspoilt nature, Polis is the ideal place to stay for hikers and nature lovers. From Polis, the road leads towards Akamas via the small fishing harbour of Latchi, with its numerous good fish taverns.
On both sides of Latchi you will find beautiful sand/pebble beaches, which like many beaches in Cyprus are awarded with the blue flag. Further west you reach the baths of the Aphrodite and the gateway to the Akamas peninsula, a natural wilderness of incredible beauty, with breath-taking gorges, sensational coastlines and easy-to-walk hiking trails.
